Hello
Since this is my first post, I’ll say a little about myself. I was born in San Francisco and have spent pretty much my whole life in California. After High School I went to community college for a couple of years. I originally planned on transferring to a four year university in two years but decided to stay there a “little” longer. A year ago I finally transferred to UC Berkeley and I’ve been there ever since. A little while back a professor friend nominated me to join the HHMI EXROP summer program. As part of the program I was given the choice to do summer research at the school of my liking. I chose Duke because the research sounded really interesting and I had always wanted to visit the South. As a condition of coming to Duke I had to also participate in the HHMI Summer Research Fellows program, so that’s why I’m here. I’ll share some info about my lab in my next post since right now I have to go.
