You know you love lab when….
…you dream about nuclear stains. When I closed my eyes last night, I saw blue Hoechst stained nuclei on the back of my eyelids. That may be due to the fact that I basically live in the confocal microscope room now.
Hi, I'm Jessica Shuen. I'm from the beautiful East Bay, San Francisco Area. I am currently a sophomore at Duke University. This blog was started as part of the Howard Hughes Summer Research Fellowship (2007) but I have decided to continue blogging throughout the year. I am continuing to work in Dr. Nicole Calakos's lab in the Department of Neurobiology as an independent study.
